2 armed men rob Campbell business

CAMPBELL -- City police are searching for two men, one in his 40s and the other younger, who robbed First American Cash Advance at gunpoint and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery occurred at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the business, at 669 McCartney Road and Twelfth Street.
Police said the younger man entered First American and tried to cash a check. It was denied, and when he was "buzzed" out, he held the door open for an accomplice to enter. The second man was wearing a bandana as a mask over his nose and mouth and carrying a chrome-plated pistol.
The gunman pointed the pistol at the employees and demanded money from the cash drawer. The robbers then left. It is not known if they were on foot or in a vehicle, police said.
Two First American employees and a customer were in the business at the time. No injuries were reported.
