On the brink of perfection: McDonald improves to 19-0

The Blue Devils went 20-0 in both 1991 and 1995.
McDONALD -- Ashleigh Tondo scored 23 points Monday as McDonald defeated Jackson-Milton 70-20 in an Inter-County League game.
McDonald (19-0, 13-0 ICL) was 20-0 in both 1991 and 1995.
Amy Dolsak scored 16 points and Emily Dolsak had 13 rebounds for McDonald.
Alyssa Chine scored five points for Jackson-Milton (6-13, 3-8).
Lowellville 42, Mineral Ridge 22
MINERAL RIDGE -- The Rams (7-12, 4-9) were held to four points in each of the second, third and fourth quarters by the Rockets' defense.
Kristen Pollozzi sparked the Rockets (10-6, 8-3) with 13 points. Jacque Schrader added 11.
Abbey Kiger paced the Rams with eight points and she grabbed five rebounds.
Rachael Siler also had five rebounds and she blocked three shots.
South Range 76, Sebring 50
NORTH LIMA -- Cindy Schuler's 16 points, 10 rebounds and six steals led the Raiders (12-7, 9-4).
Also scoring in double figures for South Range were Heather Stacy (14), Annie Semko (14) and Autumn Carter (13). Semko also had 10 rebounds while Kelcie Witmer produced eight assists and eight steals.
For the Trojans, Megan Allcorn scored 14 points and Ashley Amabeli had nine.
Springfield 73, Western Reserve 56
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- After a slow-scoring first half that saw the Tigers (11-8, 9-4) leading the Blue Devils (6-11, 3-8) 23-13 at intermission, the schools combined for 93 points in the second half.
Mindy Ritzler paced the Tigers with 15 points. Christy Warren and Samantha Cavalier chipped in with 13 apiece while Chelsea Quimby added 11 and six assists.
Alex Rathburn sparked the Blue Devils with 14 points and McKenzie Mowery finished with 11.
