NBA Randolph's 21 points propel Trail Blazers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Zach Randolph had 21 points and nine rebounds to help Portland snap a four-game losing streak with a 91-83 victory over Charlotte in a matchup of the last place teams in each conference.
The Trail Blazers had lost their last three games by 33, 32 and 32 points, shooting a combined 37 percent from the field.
Darius Miles, playing in his first game since Dec. 4, gave the Trail Blazers a boost on offense with 14 points, while Juan Dixon scored all 12 of his points in the first half. Miles had been sidelined with a sprained left knee.
Raptors 98, Timberwolves 94
MINNEAPOLIS -- Mike James scored 27 points, including two key baskets and two free throws down the stretch, to help Toronto win its third straight game.
Morris Peterson had 20 points and Charlie Villanueva added 16 for the Raptors, who shot 11-for-17 from behind the arc.
Kevin Garnett had 23 points and 19 rebounds for Minnesota.
Hornets 97, Wizards 96
OKLAHOMA CITY -- David West hit a 20-footer from the top of the key at the buzzer to give New Orleans its fourth straight win.
West's shot was his third game-winner of the season. He also made last-second shots to beat Milwaukee on Jan. 30 and Houston on Dec. 28. New Orleans has won eight of its last nine games and moved five games above .500 (28-23) for the first time this season.
All-Star guard Gilbert Arenas scored 43 points to lead Washington, which had its five-game winning streak snapped.
Mavericks 100, Knicks 72
DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks had no problem avoiding a losing streak while extending New York's worst stretch in 21 years.
Jason Terry had three of Dallas' six 3-pointers in the first quarter, and the Mavericks handed the Knicks their 10th straight loss.
