Crestview clinches title after routing Southern



Columbiana beat United to finish second in the standings.
COLUMBIANA -- Elyse Mongillo scored 23 points Monday as the Crestview High girls basketball team wrapped up a 19-1 regular season by cruising past Southern, 87-20.
Crestview (19-1, 13-1) is the Tri-County League champion.
Chelsea Bowker added 16 points while Tess Reash and Brianne Phillis each scored 13 points.
Bowker rebounded 13 times and had 10 assists while Phillis added seven assists and four steals.
After jumping ahead 27-4 after one quarter, the Rebels put it away at the half, leading 47-7 at the break.
Amanda Logstan scored six points for the Indians (3-16, 0-13).
Columbiana 66, United 54
COLUMBIANA -- Krista Johnson scored a school record five 3-point baskets and led the Clippers (17-3, 12-2) with 19 points. She also had nine assists and six steals.
Colleen Eisenbraun added 16 points and Audre Davidson pulled down 12 rebounds as the Clippers controlled the boards 37-28.
Allison Graham led the Golden Eagles (5-15, 3-11) with 14 points. Brittany Hofmeister and Darlene Woolf chipped in with 11 and 10. Lindsay Firth and Hofmeister each had eight rebounds.
Wellsville 64, Lisbon 61
LISBON -- The Tigers pulled ahead 43-39 by the end of the third quarter and held on for the victory.
Jasmine Richardson took scoring honors for the Tigers (7-10, 6-6) with 24 points. P.J. Williams and Rachel Lucas each had 12.
Caitlin Glenn led the Blue Devils (14-5, 9-5) with 22 points. Emily Smith added 13 and Eric Sims had 11.
