Newlyweds, both stabbed, are jailed

WARREN — A recently married man and woman were charged with felonious assault and placed in Trumbull County Jail after police responded to their Deerfield Avenue Southwest home and found them both stabbed.

Police said Teara Rush Cole, 31, told them her husband of four months, Jonah Cole, 32, had stabbed her. Police observed blood on her arm and on her back. Jonah Cole told police he called them after Teara stabbed him in the chest and later in the abdomen.

Both were treated at area hospitals early Saturday and then transported to the jail, where they will await a hearing in Warren Municipal Court on Tuesday. Jonah Cole was also wanted on a warrant for failing to appear for a court hearing.
