Youngstown Christian topples Heartland Christian in tourney



LORDSTOWN -- David Colbert, who missed Tuesday's game with a sprained ankle, scored 18 points for Youngstown Christian, which defeated Heartland Christian 75-51 in the Lordstown Tournament game.
Also reaching double figures in scoring for Youngstown Christian (3-4) were Eddie Gonda with 16 and Alonzo Johnson with 10.
Cody Patterson led Heartland with 14.
Louisville 63, West Branch 46
LOUISVILLE -- Dan Boudler had 22 points and Matt Schooley scored 13 for Louisville in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference game.
Kyle Rockwell had 15 points, Willy Graham had 12 and Vic Pappas had 10 for West Branch (4-2, 2-2).
Lordstown 50, Southington 46
LORDSTOWN -- Josh Lackey scored nine of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as Lordstown won for the fifth time in seven starts.
Jake DiEugenio also scored 13 points for Lordstown, which led 31-28 after three quarters.
Trey Tietz scored 18 points for the Wildcats.
Kennedy Catholic 55,Elizabeth Forward 43
DARLINGTON, Pa. -- Marsell Holden scored 28 points and had two assists and two steals to lead the Golden Eagles to the win in the Blackhawk Tournament.
Kyle Randall scored eight points, Chris Pasci pulled down five rebounds and Pat Mastrian was named to the All-Academic Team.
For Forward, Steve Sweich scored 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds. R.J. Danko made 12 points.
