Post offices, most federal buildings to close Tuesday

All post offices and most other federal offices will be closed Tuesday.
President Bush has ordered federal agencies to close that day out of respect for former President Gerald R. Ford, who died Dec. 26.
The Postal Service said there will be no mail delivery or retail service Tuesday. Express mail delivery will be available, however.
The Veterans Affairs Clinic on Belmont Avenue will remain open Tuesday, a spokesman said.
County and city offices in Mahoning and Trumbull counties will not be closed Tuesday because of Ford observances. Some may be closed for other reasons, however. People should check by telephone the office they want to do business with before going in person.
