Struthers man pleads innocent to vehicular manslaughter

YOUNGSTOWN -- Arlie G. Dorman Jr. of Struthers pleaded innocent at arraignment Thursday in municipal court to charges of vehicular manslaughter and illegal U-turn.
The 45-year-old Sextion Street man posted 2,000 bond and will be back in court Feb. 22 for a pretrial. Detective Sgt. Rob Deichman said Dorman faces up to 90 days in jail and 750 fine if convicted.
Dorman is accused of making a U-turn from the right lane while traveling west on McGuffey Road around 2:40 p.m. Nov. 25. Bradley Kaufman, 47, of Hitchcock Road, Boardman, riding a motorcycle in the left lane, died after skidding 66 feet before hitting the left side of Dorman's delivery truck, reports show.
