City man indicted for Coitsville robbery

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted Shane Tisdale, 32, of Roslyn Drive on four counts of kidnapping and one count of aggravated robbery in the robbery of a market on U.S. Route 422 in Coitsville.

Police have accused Tisdale of taking money at gunpoint from the cash register at Tic Toc Food Mart on Nov. 22. He also is accused of taking cash and a cell phone from a purse at the store.

Police said he bound the legs of two clerks and two customers before fleeing. He was arrested in Youngstown the next day on an unrelated matter, and police found evidence in the car he was driving that linked him to the Tic Toc robbery, authorities said. The grand jury handed up the indictment today.
