3 shot to death in Butler murder-suicide

BUTLER, Pa. (AP) -- A man shot and killed two people he lived with on Christmas Day before shooting himself dead, police said.
Butler City police said Joel E. Bodley, 60, called 911 on Monday afternoon just before killing himself and said there were three dead bodies in his home.
When officers arrived, they found his body in the living room with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The body of Debby J. Chuba, 55, was found in a second-floor bedroom, shot at close range. The body of her 17-year-old son, Andrew S. Chuba, was found in the basement, also shot at close range.
A police press release said all three lived at the same address in Butler, which is about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. Police did not describe the relationship between the three, but neighbors told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that Debby Chuba was Bodley's girlfriend and that Andrew Chuba was her son.
