East Palestine edges S. Range; Jake Harvey sinks 2 free throws

NORTH LIMA -- With seven seconds remaining and his team trailing by a point, Jake Harvey made two free throws for East Palestine (5-1, 2-1 ITCL), as the Bulldogs defeated South Range, 52-51, Saturday night.
Dan Hanolt scored 23 points and Harvey scored seven points for the Bulldogs.
David Rach collected 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Raiders (1-5, 0-3).
Sebring 55,Heartland Christian 39
SEBRING -- Zack Tieche tossed in 21 points and added eight rebounds as Sebring rolled past Heartland Christian.
The Trojans (5-1) also got 11 points from Jake Scott, who added six assists, while Fran Shields had 13 points for Heartland (5-8)
Wrestling
RICHMOND HEIGHTS -- South Range finished 10th as a team and had three place winners at the Division 3 Classic, which concluded Saturday.
The Raiders finished with 95.5 points. Apple Creek Waynedale won the championship (212.0), followed by Magnolia Sandy Valley (186.5) and Peninsula Woodridge (155.5).
Individually for South Range, Andrew Padach placed second at 135 pounds. Padach won three matches by decision and one by technical fall, before losing to Nick Basting of Huron in the championship match.
Also for the Raiders, Codey Deal placed fourth at 112 pounds and Nick Scheetz was sixth at 130 pounds.
