YOUNGSTOWN -- Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln St., will hold its Watch Night worship service at 10 p.m. Dec. 31. The Rev. Michael H. Harrison is pastor.
Musical drama
VIENNA -- Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, will present the musical drama "Jesus, There's Something About That Name," at 7:30 tonight and during the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Outdoor Nativity scene
CAMPBELL -- An outdoor Nativity is on display at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave. The cr & egrave;che was built by the pastor, the Rev. Michael Swierz, and a parish member, John Walczak.
First Friday Club
BOARDMAN -- The First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown will hold its monthly luncheon series from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 4 at Antone's Banquet Center, 8578 Market St. Margaret Weber, coordinator of corporate responsibility with the Dominican Sisters in Adrian, Mich., will speak on "Putting Dollars to Work for Values: Socially Responsible Learning." Interactive workshop
VILLA MARIA, Pa. -- "Make a Change in 2007," an interactive workshop, is scheduled from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at Villa Maria Community Center. The featured speaker will be Nancy Christie, author and personal growth facilitator, who will demonstrate how reflective writing can help identify and facilitate desired changes in the new year. The workshop fee is 30. Optional lunch is offered for an additional 5.70. Registration is required by Jan. 5. Christmas special
HERMITAGE, Pa. - Crossing Paths, a local Christian television program, will present a Christmas special at 9 a.m. Sunday and 11 p.m. Friday on cable channel 5 in Hermitage and cable channel 7 in Greenville, Pa. The program also will air at 11 a.m. Sunday on Fox 17/62 and at 1:37 a.m. Wednesday on Channel 27. The Mission Bells, a bell choir from Lakeside Evangelical Congressional Church, Transfer, Pa., will be featured.
