CANFIELD -- Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society installed officers for 2007 during an annual holiday dinner held for members and guests on Dec. 8 at A La Cart Catering.
Inducted during the ceremony were Harriet Chandler, president, and her associate officers, Kathy Foith, vice president; Joyce Habeger, secretary; Jim Chuey, treasurer; and Dr. Carl Chuey, membership chairman.
The Midwest Conference Dahlia Society James C. Moore Award was presented to Jim Chuey, who also received a special tribute, the Crushed Dahlia Award, which was presented by Chuck Willet.
Regular monthly meetings will be resumed by the society on Feb. 11 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek MetroParks.
