Oklahoma turns back Pitt in two overtimes, 95-89

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Mario Boggan scored a career-high 30 points and had a crucial putback in the final minute to help lift No. 15 Oklahoma State to a 95-89 double-overtime victory over seventh-ranked Pittsburgh on Thursday night.
JamesOn Curry finished with 21 points for Oklahoma State (12-1), which also got 12 apiece from Terrel Harris and Kenny Cooper.
Aaron Gray, a 7-footer, had 24 points and 10 rebounds for Pitt (10-2). Antonio Graves added 17, and Mike Cook and Levance Fields each had 15.
Both teams were trying to rebound after lengthy winning streaks were broken. Oklahoma State had won its first 11 games before committing 23 turnovers in a 79-77 loss to Tennessee in Nashville on Monday night. Pitt started out 10-0 before losing 89-75 Saturday at Wisconsin, dropping the Panthers from the No. 2 ranking.
No. 20 Notre Dame 88, Army 47
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Colin Falls scored a season-high 24 points and Notre Dame made a season-high 15 3-pointers to beat Army for its ninth straight victory -- its longest winning streak in 20 years.
With Falls making all seven shots he took in the first half, Notre Dame (10-1) led 46-20 at halftime. The 46 points were the most given up by the Black Knights (9-3) in a half this season -- it also was more points than they had given up in any of their previous three games.
Matt Bell hit a 3-pointer and converted on a three-point play to cut the lead to 47-26 early in the second half. But Falls hit another 3-pointer to spark a 15-2 run as Notre Dame moved ahead 63-30.
The 88 points by the Irish were the most allowed by Army this season. The previous high was 72 by VMI. The 47 points by the Knights also was a season-low. The previous low was 56 points against Cornell.
The loss ended a six-game win streak for the Black Knights, their longest winning streak since the 1984-85 season.
