Kwanzaa celebration of Ujima scheduled

YOUNGSTOWN -- Muhammad Study Group No. 9 and Sankofa will host a Kwanzaa celebration Thursday for Ujima, featuring speakers, drill teams, drumming and more.
It will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Buckeye Elks building, 421 North Ave. The public is welcome and there is no charge.
Ujima means collective work and responsibility. The goal of this Kwanzaa principle is to build and maintain a community together and to share in the solving of group members' problems.
