Splish, splash! They are taking a bath

Just like people, animals have to get cleaned up before they take part in shows. Above, 16-year-old Lynsey Skolosh washed off her horse, Buddy, as her sister Haley, 13, ducked the splashing Tuesday at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Lynsey will show the horse at the Canfield Fair, which starts today. The girls are from Alliance. At right, Shelby Williams, 11, of Lowellville washes off her llama, Vinnie. She was at the fairgrounds with her dad, Patrick. She will show Vinnie in 4-H events at the fair. The 160th Canfield Fair officially opens today and runs through Labor Day.
