Tuesday, August 29, 2006 YOUNGSTOWN — Edward Toth is retiring as president and chief executive officer of The St. Elizabeth and St. Joseph Development Foundations, effective Aug. 31. Toth guided the St. Joseph Development Foundation for 18 years and started the St. Elizabeth Development Foundation 10 years ago. Under his guidance the foundations supported hospital services and numerous community outreach programs. "We are grateful for Ed's dedication and commitment. His work has created a strong base upon which we can build as we move into the future," Robert Shroder, Humility of Mary Health Partners president and chief executive officer, said. John Finizio, HMHP's senior vice president of business development, has been named interim president and chief executive officer of the foundation, effective Sept. 1, officials said.
