LOWELLVILLE — Married at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at Victory Christian Center, Lester Stanford Jr., 4201 Logangate Road, Youngstown, and his bride, the former Brittney A. Thompson, 724 Indiana Ave., McDonald, were honored during a reception at the Regency House in Youngstown. The couple left on a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., and live in Liberty Township. The bride's parents are William and Beatrice Thompson, 724 Indiana Ave., McDonald. The groom is a son of Vanessa Stanford, 7438 Becky Court, Boardman, and the late Lester Stanford Sr. The bride's strapless white satin A-line gown was enhanced with beaded lace appliqués and featured a long-sleeved lace overcoat and a chapel train. Pool and latté gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Jasmine Thompson and Tessie Harvey, and the bridesmaids, Lauren Cheatham, Christine Holmes, Ericka Thompson, Errin Thompson and Katrina Coleman. Flower girl was Tara Dawson. Best men were Travis Stanford and Jamahl Stanford, and groomsmen were Isaac Stanford, Marvin Stanford, Tony Johnson, Kevin Harvey and Lem Johnson. Ring bearer was Cameron Clark, and ushers were Benjamin Coleman, Erik Thompson and Wilson Okello. Also participating were Terrie Hughes, Kerri Newman and Veneta Thompson. Mrs. Stanford, a desk clerk with the Ohio State Highway Patrol Drivers exam in Niles, is attending Youngstown State University. Mr. Stanford attended YSU and is employed at Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren.
