Bodnar 25th anniversary is observed at recent outdoor family gathering

Sunday, August 27, 2006 YOUNGSTOWN — The home of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bodnar, 404 Bon Air Ave., was the setting Aug. 19 for a family gathering held in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary. Hosts for the event were their children and their spouses, Kerry and Michael Sierra of Austintown and Theresa and Stanley Kosinski, Marisa Bodnar and Michael P. Bodnar, all of Youngstown. Also participating were the couple's eight grandchildren. Mr. Bodnar and the former Cheryl Williams were married Aug. 22, 1981, at the Girard home of the bride's sister and brother-in-law, John and Sandy Avery. Mrs. Bodnar retired in 2003 from the Cafaro Co., where she was a legal secretary. Mr. Bodnar served with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972 and is employed as a gang leader foreman with Youngstown Street Department. The couple are members of the First United Methodist Church of West Austintown.
