PARADE OF THE POLS: The seemingly endless parade of prominent national political figures campaigning in the Ohio 6th Congressional District race continues. U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's chairman, will campaign Wednesday for state Sen. Charlie Wilson, the Democratic nominee in the 6th race. The campaign says the event will be held at 4:30 p.m. at a location yet to be announced in Boardman. Volunteers sought: The gubernatorial campaign of Democrat Ted Strickland is seeking local volunteers. A meeting for Trumbull County volunteers is set for 6 p.m. Monday at the county party headquarters at 523 E. Market St. in Warren. Mahoning County volunteers are asked to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the ITAM Club at 115 S. Meridian Road in Youngstown.
