Fifty-eight people have applied to be the township’s next police chief.

Fifty-eight people have applied to be the township’s next police chief. The applicants:

• Kenneth R. Bell, Reynoldsburg; bachelor’s, University of Dayton, 1971; Gahanna Police Department since 1999.

• Patrick J. Berarducci, Medina; bachelor’s, applied science, Youngstown State University, 1977; agent with federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives since 1978, assigned to Cleveland office since 2003.

• John M. Boal, Wadsworth; master’s, technical education, 1994, and bachelor’s, criminal justice/technical education, 1989, both University of Akron; associate professor of criminal justice, UA, Summit College, since 1990.

• John Bonnevierok, Ormond Beach, Fla.; master’s, public administration, 1998, and bachelor’s, criminal justice, 1978, both University of Central Florida, Orlando; captain/district commander, Volusia County Sheriff’s office, Deland, Fla., since 2003.
