Sunday, August 20, 2006 "Teen Choice 2006" (8 p.m., Fox): Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook host "Teen Choice 2006," an offbeat awards show (winners get surfboards) that honors standouts in movies, TV, music, fashion and sports — as voted on by fans aged 13 to 19. Highlights include performances by Nelly Furtado, Timbaland and Kevin Federline. "Roast of William Shatner" (10 p.m., Comedy Central): The former Captain Kirk goes boldly where he's never gone before in the "Roast of William Shatner." Hosted by Jason Alexander, it's a night of good-natured insults as friends gather to honor Shatner's 50 years in show biz. Among those flinging barbs are Betty White, George Takei and Fred Willard. "The Exodus Decoded" (8 p.m., History Channel): Moses leading the Israelites in flight from Egypt to the Holy Land — that dramatic tale is a cornerstone of Judaism, and plays a key role in Christian and Islamic traditions. But does ancient archaeology support the biblical story of the Exodus? After six years of research, investigative journalist Simcha Jacobovici claims to have discovered the answer to this riddle. In "The Exodus Decoded" he sets forth his theory on how events unfolded, with plausible scientific explanations for each facet of the story — from the deadly series of plagues that beset the Egyptians to Moses' parting of the sea. In addition, Jacobovici has tracked down and identified ancient relics that support his theories, including a 3,500-year-old image of what could be the lost Ark of the Covenant, and the biblical Joseph's royal signet ring. "Shuriken School" (11:30 a.m., Nickelodeon): A boy tries to adjust to the quirks of attending Ninja school. "Life on Mars: Flashback" (2 p.m., BBC America): The brilliant British mystery series has a four-hour marathon that will leave you looking for clues. "Entourage" (10 p.m., HBO): Ari is putting up his dukes against Martin Landau, who has a mean right hook for a dude who's, like, 300 years old.
