Officials to discuss septic system woes



Sunday, August 20, 2006 VIENNA — Vienna Township trustees are conducting an informational meeting for Vienna Township businesses whose septic systems do not meet new Environmental Protection Agency standards. Trustees said the purpose of the meeting, to be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mathews High School on Warren-Sharon Road, is to discuss and look for possible solutions to what they described as a "growing problem." Officials invited to the meeting include: Gary Newbrough, Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer; Trumbull County Health Department; Trumbull County Commissioners; Trumbull County Planning Commission; U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan; Ohio Rep. Sandra Harwood; Ohio Sen. Marc Dann; Steve Bowser of the Western Reserve Port Authority; and the Mathews Board of Education.
