Krysteks observe 60th anniversary at luau party

Sunday, August 20, 2006 YOUNGSTOWN — Beard Cabin in Boardman Township Park was the setting Aug. 5 for a luau party held in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Krystek, 4006 Risher Road, who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's children and their spouses, Barb Lorenzini of Boardman, Greg and Denise Krystek of Milwaukee, Wis., Pat and Randy Taylor of Columbiana, Mark and Kathy Krystek of Atlanta, Christine and Larry Roessler of Russell, Pa., and Eugene and Luraina Krystek of Hermitage, Pa. There are 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren in the family. The former Barbara Joseph and Mr. Krystek were united in marriage Aug. 3, 1946, at Sacred Heart Church. They are members of St. Christine Church. Mr. Krystek served with the 148th Combat Engineers Battalion from 1943 to 1945. He retired in 1985 from General Fireproofing, where he was a press operator.
