Sunday, August 20, 2006 JILL DRENGSON BENJAMIN HAHLEN MILWAUKEE — The July 22 wedding of Jill Lynn Drengson and Benjamin David Hahlen, both of 560 W. Fulton Ave., Chicago, took place at 2 p.m. at St. Hedwig Catholic Church. The Rev. Tim Kitzke officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of James and Terri Drengson, 616 Cherokee Circle, Madison, Wis., and the son of David and Nancy Hahlen, 2152 S. Pricetown Road, Lake Milton. A reception was held at the Aster Hotel. After a wedding trip to Barcelona, Spain, the couple were honored at a postnuptial reception held July 29 at Soffo's Cafe in Boardman. The bride's strapless A-line gown of ivory chiffon was trimmed with champagne accents. Wine-colored gowns were worn by the bride's cousin and honor attendant, Alissa McLaughlin, and the bridesmaids, the groom's sister, Stephanie Hahlen; Staci Loomis; and Tara Hanson. Best man was Michael DiNovo, and groomsmen were Gerald Scott, Billy Hoffman and Michael Scripps. Ushers were Eric Odell, J.R. Burch and Barry Black. The bride, a speech-language pathologist with Brightview Care Center in Chicago, earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in speech pathology at the University of Wisconsin. The groom graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor's in physics and from Case Western Reserve University with a bachelor's in engineering. He is a health-care consultant with General Electric Health Care in Chicago, and is enrolled in graduate school at the University of Chicago.
