Sunday, August 20, 2006 CHARLA NEIFER JACOB THOMAS GIRARD — The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 2 p.m. ceremony July 15 as Charla Neifer and Jacob Thomas, both of 406 McDonald Ave., McDonald, were married at St. Rose Church by the Rev. James Korda. A reception was held at Mahoning Country Club for the daughter of Kurt and Pamela Neifer, 76 Venloe Drive, Poland, and the son of Kay Fadell, 2943 Niles-Carver Road, Niles, and Tom Thomas of McDonald. After a wedding trip to Disney World in Florida, the couple live in McDonald. The bride's white A-line gown was embellished with beads and sequins. Wearing light-blue gowns were Sherri Orr of Boardman, the honor attendant; the bridesmaids, Maryjo Savage and Sharmayne Gay, both of Youngstown, and Amy Hays of Boardman; and the junior bridesmaid, Nicole Thomas of McDonald, the groom's cousin. Flower girl was Julia Neifer of Struthers, the bride's niece. Nick Nicholson of McDonald was best man, and groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Tom Thomas and Mike Javornicky, both of McDonald; the bride's brother, Chris Neifer of Poland; and Dan Dean of McDonald. Junior groomsman was Brandon Thomas of McDonald, the groom's cousin, and ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Andrew Neifer. The bride, a teacher with Youngstown City School District, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. The groom is a sanitary engineer with Wolford's Refuge and Recycling Inc. in McDonald.
