AUSTINTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cearfoss, South Inglewood Avenue, was celebrated at a private party held April 7 at Anthony's on the River, Youngstown.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's family, Darlene and Jeffrey Tatarka of Boardman, Janice Sammartino of Austintown, and Sandra and Joe Spalla of Canfield. Completing the family are four grandchildren.
The former Angeline R. Rossi and Mr. Cearfoss were married April 7, 1956, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. They are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Mrs. Cearfoss, a homemaker, is the secretary for Lowellville Senior Citizens.
Mr. Cearfoss served with the U.S. Marine Corps and retired in 1995 from Ohio Edison Co. in Youngstown, where he was a line foreman. He is a member of Lowellville Senior Citizens, the Saxon Club and the Marine Corps League.
