XAMELIA ISLAND, Fla. -- Chastity Johnston and John R. Kessler Jr., both of 5920 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs, Fla., exchanged nuptial vows during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony that took place March 18 at The Beach Club at Summer Beach Resort where a reception was held immediately afterward.
The Rev. Ted Schroder officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Roy and Denise Johnston, 4777 Mingo Branch Road, Santa Fe, Tenn., and the son of Mary Ann Kessler, 3920 Rush Blvd., Youngstown, and John R. Kessler Sr., 1185 Idaho Road, Austintown.
The bride's white satin strapless gown featured pearl and sequin beading on the bodice and train, a wrap at the waist and a lace-up corset back.
Hydrangea blue gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Alison Scott of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Christine Mayden of Knoxville, Tenn. Flower girl was the bride's niece, Addie Grace Johnston of Santa Fe.
Serving as best man was Chad Mathews of Jacksonville, Fla., and groomsman was Richard Warner of Miamisburg, Ohio. The bride's nephew, Seth Johnston of Santa Fe, was the ring bearer.
The bride graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn., with a bachelor's degree in communications.
The groom is an EHS manager with CPC Aeroscience in Pompano Beach, Fla. He earned a bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety management from the University of Findlay in Ohio.
After honeymooning at Amelia Island, the couple live in Coral Springs, Fla.
