VACCINATIONS Rabies clinic

Mahoning County District Board of Health is sponsoring rabies vaccination clinics for dogs, cats and ferrets. No appointment is necessary. Cost is $2 to help recover supply costs. Dog owners must have their dogs under leash. Cat and ferret owners should have their pets caged or carried in a cloth pillowcase.
Co-sponsors: City of Struthers, Animal Charity, Mahoning County Dog Warden's office, Angels for Animals and volunteer veterinarians in the community.
Age: Vaccination of all dogs, cats, and ferrets more than 3 months old is required by the health district.
Clinic locations/times: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Angels for Animals, 4750 state Route 165, Beaver Township; 1 to 4 p.m. May 6, Struthers Police Department, 6 Elm St.; 1 to 4 p.m. May 20, Berlin Township Fire Hall, U.S. Route 224 and state Route 534.
