Woman reports theft of intimate items

Thursday, April 20, 2006

LIBERTY -- Township police are investigating a series of break-ins at a home, during which intimate female apparel and other adult items were taken.
A 22-year-old Frederick Street woman told police she arrived home at 10 p.m. April 13 and heard someone crawling out of her bedroom window, but she did not see the person or in what direction the person ran.
Police reports said the bedroom area was ransacked. The woman, reports said, told officers cash, female undergarments and miscellaneous adult toys were missing from the bedroom. The woman, according to reports, told officers similar break-ins have occurred at the home over the past several weeks and undergarments and adult paraphernalia were taken during those break-ins. The woman told officers she suspects a man she has seen peeking in her windows may be responsible for the break-ins.
