YOUNGSTOWN -- Lewis Wesley, 33, of Olive Street, Warren, was hospitalized Friday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center with stab wounds. His condition was not available.
He had been stabbed at least five times about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Sunshine Avenue, police said.
Reports show he was stabbed in the right side of his upper back, left side of his chest, left wrist, and twice in his right thigh.
Police said a blood trail led from the rear drive of 360 Sunshine to the side door and then to the front.
Wesley told police that a dark colored Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra pulled up, and two men he doesn't know got out and stabbed him. No motive was given for the attack.
Police said the evidence suggests that Wesley was stabbed in the rear yard, but he maintains that he was in the street in front of 360 Sunshine.
Police also found a large pool of blood on the living room carpet and blood on the inside of the side door.
