Leetonia rallies to defeat United, 24-14

The Bears trailed the Golden Eagles 14-7 at halftime.
LEETONIA -- The Leetonia High football team rallied from a 14-7 halftime deficit to win its fourth straight game, a 24-14 decision over United Friday night in Tri-County League action.
Jon Williams' 27-yard field goal with 7:03 remaining in the third period gave the Bears (4-1, 2-0) the lead for good. Jake Kruegel and Corey Raushenbach had scoring runs of 14 and 20 yards, respectively, for Leetonia in the second half.
United took the early lead on runs of 2 yards by Tarik Solomon and 1 yard by Bryan Phillips. Leetonia's early score came on Williams' 1-yard run.
Williams finished with 67 yards on 21 carries while Kruegel added 65 yards on 17 attempts.
Solomon led United (1-4, 0-2) with 57 yards on 17 carries.
Lisbon 28, E. Palestine 0
EAST PALESTINE -- Josh Grafton ran 11 times for 115 yards and a 48-yard touchdown for the Blue Devils (5-0, 2-0).
Dana Rose added 13 carries for 67 yards and a 2-yard rushing touchdown.
Corey Smith completed 9 of 17 passes for 93 yards and a pair of touchdowns -- one each to Grafton (10 yards) and Rose (13).
Pat Figley ran 13 times for 44 yards and his cousin, Jack Figley, added two carries for 38 yards for the Bulldogs (0-5, 0-2).
East Palestine lost four turnovers in the game.

Southern 13
SALINEVILLE -- Adam Thompson rushed for 137 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead Crestview.
Thompson had scoring runs of 42, 22, 6 and 2 yards as the Rebels totaled 480 yards, 226 on the ground.
Jordan Reynolds also added two touchdowns for the Rebels (4-1, 2-0).
Southern (2-3, 0-2 TCL) scored on long runs by Anthony Castro (49 yards) and Nick Puckett (62 yards).
