XYOUNGSTOWN -- Marco Pecchia of Boardman and his bride, the former Cara Lynne Jamieson of McDonald left for a honeymoon in Aruba after their wedding Sept. 3 at Immaculate Conception Church.
Monsignor John Zuraw presided at the 1 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Carl and Diane Fossaceca of McDonald and Thomas and Debbie Jamieson of Uniontown, Pa., and the son of Mario and Margaret Pecchia of Boardman. A reception was held for the couple at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The bride's ivory satin halter style gown was embellished with jeweled embroidery and featured a tiffany train.
Sage green gowns were worn by Julie Dion, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kristy Wining, Mara Pecchia, Marissa Pecchia, Shaina Jamieson, Taylor Jamieson, Becky Gainard and Maura Peterson. Miniature bride was Ava Jamieson and flower girl was Halle Jamieson.
Mario Pecchia was best man, and groomsmen were Mathew Dion, Chris Fossaceca, Anthony Fossaceca, Anthony Musolino, Mike Ekis, Greg Kuschel and Jason Jarosz. Miniature groom was Luke Pecchia, and ring bearers were David Gessler and Dominic Pecchia.
Also participating were Karen Sloan, Carla Macali and Jami Joshua.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and is a preschool teacher at Akron Montessori.
Mr. Pecchia, an animal keeper with Akron Zoological Park, graduated from YSU.
