HUBBARD -- Angels Among Us 5K and Family Fun Walk is planned from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 2 at Harding Park here. The memory walk is a tribute to the late Dustin Keryan, who died in July of a brain tumor.
The registration fee is $15 and includes a shirt, bottled water and brunch. Register by next Saturday at Margo's Cards or East Hill Florist.
Entertainment will be presented by Rodd Coonce, Music at Madison, Carolyn Lonog and Ryan Keryan.
A raffle will include gift baskets, golf packages, gift certificates from local restaurants and other prizes.
There will be a "wall of honor" for people to post photos of loved ones who are battling cancer or who have died. There will be a balloon launch.
Proceeds benefit the Brain Tumor Center at Duke University.
