4 Youngstown store managers and owners face fraud charges

Another arrest involved pirated DVDs.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Ohio Department of Public Safety's Investigative Unit and the Youngstown Police Department charged four Youngstown store owners and managers with food stamp and Women, Infants and Children program fraud.
Since February, agents from the unit's Akron office and Youngstown police have investigated two local businesses they say accepted food stamps in exchange for ineligible items such as money, cigarettes and other nonfood items.
Who was indicted
Those indicted Friday as part of the food stamp fraud investigation are:
UFadel Samad and Nabil Samad, owners of the F & amp;N Food Market on Shehy Street. They were charged with illegal use of food stamps or WIC program benefits, telecommunication fraud and possessing criminal tools.
UAli Mufleh and Maysalun Samad, respectively the manager and owner of Tiny's Drive Thru at North Garland Avenue. They were indicted on charges of illegal use of food stamps or WIC benefits, possessing criminal tools, telecommunication fraud, trademark counterfeiting, and criminal simulation.
Also, the investigation resulted in the indictment of an area business owner for selling pirated DVDs. Eyad Ali, owner of the Six Brothers Market on Oak Street, was charged with criminal simulation and trademark counterfeiting.
