The 16th annual Corporate Cup, organized by the YMCA and conducted at the Mill Creek Park Wick Recreation Area and other locations, pitted teams against each other in a variety of athletic events on Aug. 26, 27 and 28, and Saturday. About 1,800 people from 20 organizations participated. Winners were determined by combining team scores in all events. Winners beginning with first place are:
Red Division (large companies): Forum Health A Team; Youngstown YMCA Central Branch; Home Savings and Loan Co.; HMHP A Team; Boardman YMCA; Forum Health B Team; HMHP B Team; General Motors Lordstown.
White Division (midsize companies): MS Consultants, Youngstown; Professional Risk Management, Boardman; Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way; Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and City of Youngstown, tied for fourth; Trustmark Life Insurance, Boardman; Mahoning County Children Services Board.
Blue Division (small companies): Infocision Management combined team; Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority.
