New Orleans artist will miss show's opening

YOUNGSTOWN -- David S. Rubin of the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans, and curator of the "Birdspace" exhibition at the McDonough Museum of Art, has canceled his appearance at the exhibition's opening reception, which will begin at 6 this evening.
Rubin is a resident of hurricane-battered New Orleans.
