Service station reports 2 men stole $600



YOUNGSTOWN -- Two men robbed a service station on the city's West Side of about $600 shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The men entered Valley Service Center, 1561 Mahoning Ave., and one held a black revolver, while the other robber ordered the employee's wife to open the registers before he took the money, a police report shows. The pair fled north, the report says. The employee was unsure if the men got into a vehicle, the report continues. The suspects were described as black and 18 to 20 years old. One had acne on his face and was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and wearing a gray shirt. The second man was about 5 feet 4 inches tall, 120 pounds and wearing black pants and a black jacket with a hood.
