WARREN -- Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Youngstown will have the 2005 Voice of Hope dinner Friday at Leo's Ristorante and Banquet Center.
The theme is "One Body ... One Church." The event starts at 6 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction. The dinner is at 7.
Kenneth Hackett, president of Catholic Relief Services, will give the keynote address.
Awards will go to St. Paul Church, North Canton, and Jean K. Rhodes of Salem and the Diocesan Criminal Justice Ministry Program, represented by Deacon James Harvey, for demonstrating excellence, creativity and leadership in charity and justice on behalf of disadvantaged people.
Frank Marzullo, weather forecaster for "WFMJ Today" and "21 News Midday," will be master of ceremonies.
All proceeds will benefit the Catholic Charities Agencies Emergency Assistance Program.
