Woman reports Internet scam

CANFIELD -- A woman told police she believes she is the victim of an Internet scam to get bank account information.
The Talsman Drive woman told police there is money missing from her account.
According to a police report, the woman received an e-mail Tuesday about a watch's being charged to her PayPal account. The e-mail asked her if she wanted to dispute the charge. When the woman selected "yes" to dispute it, the e-mail asked her for her bank account information. She said she provided the information.
The woman told police that on Wednesday, she tried to use her debit card and it was declined.
She said a bank statement showed several withdrawals she didn't make.
She said there should have been $2,500 in her account, but when she checked Wednesday, it was down to $525.
