Strickland backs Hagan for Youngstown mayor

YOUNGSTOWN -- U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland of Lisbon, a 2006 gubernatorial candidate, is endorsing a fellow Democrat, state Sen. Robert F. Hagan, for Youngstown mayor in the Nov. 8 election.
"Bob Hagan always fights for the little guy," said Strickland, D-6th. "And he loves Youngstown with his whole heart. I know that with his compassion, his tenacity and his solid judgment, that this great Ohio city will be in good hands with him as mayor."
Strickland's district includes a portion of Mahoning County, but not Youngstown.
