Man charged with attempted homicide

MERCER, Pa. -- A 65-year-old West Middlesex man is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault after being accused of threatening his estranged wife.
Pennsylvania State Police said they arrested David Estman at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday after he pointed a .22-caliber revolver at his wife's head and threatened to shoot her. Police said a struggle ensued and the woman was hit several times in the stomach and choked before escaping.
Police said the fight occurred after Estman was told he could not move back into the house.
He was also charged with recklessly endangering another person and terroristic threats.
