Best Bets on TV Tonight

"Everybody Hates Chris" (8 p.m., UPN): On the outstanding freshman comedy, the young kid Rock is ordered by his mother to take his little siblings out for trick-or-treating. And that's a bummer because it messes with his own plans for the night. The episode is worth watching if only to see Chris decked out as Prince -- frilly shirt, mustache and all.
"Sanford and Son" (9:30 p.m., TV Land): Fred Sanford (Redd Foxx) trashes his taxes and instead enters a Redd Foxx look-alike contest.
Night Stalker (9 p.m., ABC): Darren McGavin's Kolchak battled vampires, zombies and aliens. Stuart Townsend's Kolchak investigates inner evil -- a telepathic killer, biotech terrorist and tonight's episode on a really bad seed.
"ER" (9:59 p.m., NBC): Ray Liotta's Emmy-winning performance as a dying alcoholic is worth catching again. The "Goodfellas" star is brilliant in this ground-breaking 2004 episode that charts the final 44 minutes of his life.
"Hottest Hunks" (11 p.m., SoapNet): Who are the sexiest men on the daytime soaps? This program promises plenty of examples (though no actual countdown). There will also be a bit of historical perspective, with a look at some hunks from the past.
