A five-year fiscal forecast approved by the Youngstown Board of Education on Tuesday shows the district could be in deficit spending within a year but should recover in the fifth year. A breakdown of projected revenues and expenditures:

Fiscal 2007: Revenue: $110,307,651; Beginning cash balance: $1,117,700; Expenditures: $114,851,730.
Fiscal 2008: Revenue: $108,111,320; Beginning cash balance: Negative $3,426,379: Expenditures: $110,815,305.
Fiscal 2009: Revenue: $10,135,836; Beginning cash balance: Negative $6,130,363; Expenditures: $106,726,105.
Fiscal 2010: Revenue: $110,685,207; Beginning cash balance: Negative $2,720,631: Expenditures: $102,839,959.
