Pros will offer help with health planning

COLUMBUS -- Attorneys and health care professionals will explain and help people fill out living wills and health care powers of attorney during "Plan Ahead ... Health Care Decisions Week."
The programs are being sponsored by the state and local bar associations, the Ohio Hospital Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, the Ohio Hospice & amp; Palliative Care Organization and the Ohio Library Council.
Health care providers are guided by the forms when patients are being treated but cannot speak for themselves. The goal is to help people make informed decisions about the documents when they are not in a crisis.
Lawyers at the program can't offer legal advice, but volunteers will help people complete the forms.
