Parents warned of poem threat at Mohawk High

BESSEMER, Pa. -- Mohawk High School students came home Friday with a letter informing parents that Pennsylvania State Police were notified about a poem found Friday afternoon on the wall of a boys' restroom stall.
The poem said: & quot;Need Time To Think, Need Time to Think, Need to Spill Blood So I can Drink. & quot;
The letter, signed by high school Principal Charles Shoop, says state police will conduct an investigation.
Shoop stated that although the poem contained no specific threat, he felt parents should be aware of the situation.
School officials had been criticized earlier this year when school went on as usual after a threat was found written on a girls restroom wall. Parents at the time were not informed of the threat by school officials.
Some students told their parents and parents took them out of school, fearing for their safety.
