Man shot on Belmont says passenger opened fire



YOUNGSTOWN -- Larese Jones was shot twice in the left leg outside A & amp;N Supermarket on Belmont Avenue around 1 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Jones, 28, of Wampum Avenue, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. He was in guarded condition.
Jones told police he had just gotten out of his car when the passenger of a brown Buick Park Avenue traveling southbound on Belmont opened fire.
Jones said he doesn't know the suspects or why he was shot. Police collected six .45-caliber casings.
