URSULINE HIGH Two alumni to receive service award
YOUNGSTOWN -- The 18th annual Ursuline High School distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented during The Feast of St. Ursula Liturgy at 10:15 a.m. today in the school gymnasium.
This year's recipients are Atty. Vincent E. Gilmartin, class of 1946, and Jeanne McLaughlin Foley, class of 1949.
The award is given to graduates who have distinguished themselves by dedicated service to the school and the community.
Gilmartin, a former Mahoning County prosecutor, has participated in major school events over the years and is a member of the executive board of the Ursuline High School Alumni Association.
Foley has served on various Ursuline boards and committees and is a class captain for the alumni association. She and her late husband, Don, established one of the first endowed scholarships at Ursuline.
