F.N.B. workers contribute to Katrina relief

HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Employees and officers of F.N.B. Corp. were to present the American Red Cross a check for $55,470 for its Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. This gift was $10,000 more than originally reported at the end of the official campaign Sept. 16.
The bank's Hurricane Katrina Relief campaign is the fourth employee-giving campaign this year. In January, employees raised more than $15,800, matched by F.N.B. Corporation, for tsunami relief. Then in April, F.N.B. employees collected more than $4,400 for a regional campaign on behalf of the American Cancer Society and raised more than $4,400. During July, F.N.B. employees held a regional campaign on behalf of the American Heart Association and raised more than $4,900.
