Police unit to honor 2 women at open house

YOUNGSTOWN -- In observance of National Domestic Violence Month, the Crisis Intervention Unit of the Youngstown Police Department is hosting an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at 34 W. Federal St., Suite 900, Wick Building.
Detective Sgt. Delphine Baldwin-Casey will present awards to E. Nikki Davis of the Mahoning- Youngstown Community Action Partnership, formerly known as the Youngstown Area Community Action Council, and Karla Krodel, director of Health Care Industry Cluster, Youngstown State University, Southwoods Commons. They are being honored for their contributions in forming the Crisis Intervention Unit.
